Pastor Lubega was born in Warner Robins, Georgia to Dr. Seth and Mrs. Dorcas Lubega.  He is the second of three children.  From the age of 7 months through his college years, he grew up in the Oakwood University (formerly Oakwood College) community.  He graduated with the class of 2000 receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Ministerial Theology and History.

During his educational years, he served as a pastoral assistant to pastors Eric C. Ward, Leslie N. Pollard and John Nixon, Sr. at the Oakwood College (OC) Church.  He was ordained as a local elder and served from 1994-1998 at the OC Church.

Pastor Lubega was the Extern Associate Pastor of the Hyde Park S.D.A. Church in Chicago, Illinois from 2000-2003 while attending Andrews Theological Seminary.  Later in December of 2003, Pastor Lubega received his Master of Divinity from Andrews Theological Seminary.  In June of 2003 he accepted the call to become the Senior Pastor of the Bethesda Temple S.D.A. Church in Omaha, Nebraska where he has been preaching and teaching.  

Pastor Lubega has submitted to Divine leading from Omaha to Pensacola and is committed to preaching the everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ and His love to the entire world until He comes to take us home.
